It hit me this morning while exercising and watching an incredible YouTube video…
(Joel Salatin of Polyface Farms in Virginia speaking at Google over 8 years ago;
…that to really change our current trajectory on this planet as a human species heading toward kindness instead of violence, and sustainability instead of rampant consumption with little to no regard for replenishment, that it is I that has to cast a first pebble in the proverbial pond and start that ripple effect.
And, if I don’t do it, then how can I expect others to?
Joel woke me up out of my stupor of victimhood, and woe is me mentality, and propelled me into an orbit of taking charge of my thoughts and actions, and how I spend my time here.
Today is a new day.
Today is the day I start to rebuild Purple Glove Organics into a sustainable agriculture business that feeds me, my family, and my community.
Today is the day I say ‘No’ to the distractions around me that take me away from my ultimate goal of sustainability with food and compost production.
Today is my day to start living a life that I would be proud to tell my wife and son, and all my friends and family that I’m living.
Today I start.
Purple Glove Organics is revived.

More to come!
